THE NINTH CIRCLE (The Heretic Files Book 2)

A lost record. A deadly secret. A race against time.

Ray Storke arrives in Istanbul to recover a dead collector’s papers. A quiet estate dispute. A few photographs. A flight home.

Then he finds the cipher.

Hidden among the documents is a grid of numbers connected to a medieval manuscript—a manuscript the collector paid a fortune to acquire and grew frightened of before his death. His daughter wants answers. His son wants the collection sold. Someone watching from the Bosphorus wants Storke to stop asking questions.

Following the trail draws Storke and Elena into guarded archives, divided loyalties, and a conspiracy whose keepers have spent centuries deciding which truths the world is allowed to know. Every discovery brings them closer to the missing record—and to people prepared to kill before it can be exposed.

In a city built on the secrets of fallen empires, recovering the past may cost them their future.

THE NINTH CIRCLE is the second novel in THE HERETIC FILES, a conspiracy thriller series by Dimitry Shabsis.
